Virtual Retreat

Change surrounds us.

The seasons shift, cultures evolve and the climate transforms.

Not only does the world change, but we ourselves are continually unfolding in God. Life itself is a passage from birth to death, and along the way we live in constant transition. These transitions are both vulnerable, disorienting and challenging, and also powerful opportunities for growth, clarity and connection.

During this 2-hour online retreat, we will engage in creative, embodied spiritual practices that help us notice, listen, and welcome the changes within and around us. Together, we will name our unique personal transitions while also bearing witness to the shared transitions of humanity. The guided practices will touch on different dimensions of the self—Body, Mind, Spirit, and Community.
Our time together will include:

  • A brief introduction to the theme by the instructors
  • Guided embodied practices
  • Opportunity to share and listen for the Spirit moving among us in small groups

Note: If it is your practice, or you are curious to explore the observance of Lent, this retreat is a great way to enrich your Lenten journey. Lent too, is an in-between season in the Christian calendar—a significant threshold time that holds both the fear and the possibility of inevitable change. One of the invitations of Lent is to linger at the many thresholds of our lives.
