Have you ever had the experience of working with someone who seems so stuck that nothing seems to breakthrough?

Oftentimes, what hinders forward movement in a conversation, whether it be with a directee, client, friend, etc., is the presence of shame. There are many problems with shame... one of which is that you cannot talk someone out of it. In the lives of people, shame is the most powerful force...apart from grace. During the inner healing process, shame can be dismantled so that an experience of grace can emerge.

Margie Mach will host the conversation to explore the use of Inner Healing in various forms of companioning. The course will include some practical and experiential aspects, so that participants can gain confidence in their use of Inner Healing.

Please note, there is a prerequisite in taking Experience Integration Healing - A 4 hr Integration Healing experience with the Imago Dei Team.

Cathy Jo Finch

Cathy jo has come to understand that what resides deepest in each of us, God, The Imago Dei, Light, Energy, our essential spiritual core, or whatever you would like to call it, communicates to each of us what is true. We thrive when we learn to listen to the sacred depths of our souls, and she desires to host a space that allows for that.

She enjoys working with people who want to examine all aspects of life, including the religious traditions from which they come. She desires to provide a compassionate, contemplative space for those courageous enough to question their stories, seeking healing and growth in the Light of Love.

Cathy jo graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Montana. She has been a part of the Imago Dei team since 2018 and earned a certificate in Soul Care through a program developed and taught by Larry J. Crabb, Ph.D. from Our Daily Bread University, in 2020. She received her certification in Spiritual Direction through The Companioning Center in 2023. She spent many years in lay ministry with a heart for bringing people together to question, think, heal and grow in their relationship with the Trinity and each other.
